You need to check some points like contract should be flexible so that you can add if you want some changes in arrangements according to your requirements. For example, if they have a fixed rate for any party till midnight, but the party can still go on all night long if you want it to, so contract can be modified for that kind of party.

1)  Brief detail of event:
The location of the event, starting and ending time must be clearly specified in the contract. The ending time should be flexible. Extra charges should be mentioned in the contract if the event continues beyond the specified timeframe.

2) Cost and Price Details:
The prices and rates of per plate for adult and kids should be clearly mentioned in the contract and it’s depending on the number of items included in the menu. If it’s going to be buffet so calculation for the buffet will be done accordingly. Charges for dining, seating and table side should be mentioned and cost for additional items such as plates, silverware and decoration etc should be stated as well in the contract.

3) Brief details of the menu:
Each and every detail of the menu should be included in the contract such as: the number of dishes to be served, including appetizer courses; and the number of items/dishes included in each course; when cocktails need to be served. The size and price of wedding cake should be mentioned.

4) Liquor details:
If you want there will be a full bar so that the guests can enjoy their drinks anytime and what type of alcohol will be served, Make sure the charges of the bartenders and corkage fees if required.

5) Legal Policies:
Kindly check the full deadline for menu changes for example: Two weeks before the event. What should be the advance deposit? For example: 20% to 50% of the total amount and when will the remaining amount have to paid and how? For example: cash, cheque or credit card. What is the refund policy in case of cancellation?
